About this partnership

What did we find?
We encountered a headquarters with a large, but minimally-collaborating personnel. We came into a typical corporate setting and the atmosphere in the workplace could have been better. There was too much waste, often unnecessarily. Moreover, almost nothing had been done on product development for years, even though there was a need for innovation from the market.

What have we achieved?
We managed to greatly reduce the purchase prices. We renewed our range and expanded it. No longer were rolls being thrown away (in their thousands) because they were just a bit too heavy. A number of strong new people, under the direction of our strategic partner, breathed life back into the head office. The pride in the company returned. Dutch Bakery Group became the market leader in the Benelux and is established as a top 3 of Europe when it comes to low-oxygen packaged bread. We sold DBG in 2017.
